The SEED Network is a Kultivate Labs project focused on accelerating the growth of small businesses in the SOMA Pilipinas Cultural District, as well as the larger Bay Area. Our vision at Kultivate Labs is to create a thriving commercial corridor for the Filipino cultural district and find ways for BIPOC entrepreneurs to collaborate. The SEED program has multiple components to fulfill its mission:
Creating grant programs and issuing grants to small businesses
Fostering a community of like-minded entrepreneurs so they can network, share best practices, and find ways to collaborate for mutually beneficial growth.
Developing workshops to increase the technical capabilities of entrepreneurs
Connecting entrepreneurs to procurement opportunities with large enterprises and other resources to fuel their growth.
Steering an accelerator program to make dramatic improvements in business performance.
Conducting ongoing consultations to help business owners navigate the rocky road of entrepreneurship.
